For two years, i've stayed silent except for the occasional poem or deviation. I guess its time to try
to come out of my shell. Or at least share what I've been up to.
For those of you who don't know, I've been working on websites on my own as well as at ASID (Advanced
Solutions for Interactive Design). I've made several websites as both ASID and PulsewaveStudios, my own
company pretty much. I am leaving PulsewaveStudios to the Hosting portion of business, since my partner and I
get more business through him and his (our) company, ASID. I'll put a list at the end so you guys can check them out.
Right now, i'm also looking into, not only finishing my bachelor's which I put on hold, but also some courses to
help me do my current job better. I've also applied for a civilian job in the NAVY, which would give me a chance to leave PR and go to several different places where the job is available. This of course brings a choice to mind:
Where do I go?
In a perfect world, all my friends would live in the same place, and i could simply go to be near them. Unfortunately, this is far from true for me. Here are my options as they stand:
Staying in PR - Here, I have my family, my friends Gisela, Celi, Ponko, and my best friend Nick. If I stay here,
I'll be around alot of the people I care about, but not all. And those I care about here, unfortunately,
I barely see them. We're all busy people, of course, and phone calls abound when possible... but phone
calls can be made elsewhere....
Going to the US - If I get the Navy job, there are several places that would pull me towards them...
Texas - If nothing else in Texas could call me, I would still be pulled toward it by one of my oldest and dearest friends, Caitlin. I've had her in my life for more years than I can count, and would be more than willing
to move there just to be able to wrap my arms around her and be there for her when she needs me...
Florida - Florida holds alot of pull too. For I have to very good friends there, Cat and Kelly, and both are
not only the nicest you'll ever meet, but interesting to be around, fun, and just sweethearts, both of them. And being there for them would be great too...
New York - Probably the greatest pull of all comes from New York, New Jersey, and that area. For in that rather large area, I have several friends whom I could be with whenever I could. In New Jersey, I have DD, a very eccentric but lovable person, and never boring to be around. In New York, I have not one, but three different people. In NYC, Nuna, who's studying to be a chef, and who wouldn't mind my company on her very little down-time. Jess, who's both smart and eloquent in her thought and speech, and can keep me in conversation for quite some time. And the biggest pull of all, my friend Alicia. Alicia who I worry about more than anyone, probably. Alicia who is like my other half, the best friend you always felt was out there. A soulmate, even...
So, where do I go? Does anyone know? ... I don't.
